Mixed-Use Building

This vacant lot was converted into a new five (5) story mixed-use building with thirty-four apartments, ground floor retail spaces, and eighteen 18 parking spaces.
 
The construction of this mixed-use building continues the expansion and urban renewal of this neighborhood.   As with other metropolitan areas, rental units in the South Broad Street neighborhood provide new housing opportunities for the residents.

Multifamily Construction

The site measures 5,820 square feet and was occupied by a vacant single-story formerly industrial building and a vacant lot. The building was demolished, and a new (5) story residential building was constructed. The new building has sixteen (16) units and ten (10) parking spaces on the ground floor. 
 
Given the nature of the housing shortage in urban areas, this new building provides newly constructed apartments. The apartments are beautiful, sun-filled units with spacious open layouts featuring hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, central A/C and heat, shared Laundry, parking, and balconies. The neighborhood’s proximity to transit, including buses and Newark Penn Station, makes this an ideal location.
